Zubhium is now Vessel : The Next Generation of App Building
We founded Zubhium last year because we wanted to give developers a comprehensive suite of tools to help them build the next generation of mobile apps. We did this by providing a one-stop testing, distribution, and feedback platform.
As we’ve grown, your insights and feedback have helped us build a better product — and we’re still iterating and evolving.
Now we’re entering the next phase in our development. In a few weeks, Zubhium will become Vessel.
Vessel will have all of the same features and functionality as Zubhium, with some important additions:
- Full support for iOS as well as Android.
- Entirely new interface with increased visibility into crash reports, improved ability to identify malfunctioning components in one glance vs long tail of crashes.
- Remote Log API with handled exceptions support to help you track your app’s every move
- Beta testing that’s even easier and faster, with provisioning & OTA distribution for your iOS & Android apps from one platform. Also, now you can invite an unlimited number of people to try your app.
What is Vessel?
Vessel provides a comprehensive suite of tools including testing, beta distribution, crash analytics, and community support, in one vehicle — allowing developers to focus on inventing.
By providing one interface for your mobile application’s inner workings, Vessel manages the performance and distribution of your app for its entire life-cycle — from idea to execution to evolution — and across platforms and devices.
We take an entirely new approach to managing your app’s success, gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data on the severity and relationships of crashes to give you better insight into the progress of your app.
We want to take the distraction out of app building, and we think the new name and product help us do that even better. We’re proud to unveil a cool new interface — the Vessel command center.
Real time monitoring Crash Trends
What about my existing apps? What’ll happen to apps-in-development?
Zubhium will still be active until June 15, 2013 and your apps-in-development will be unaffected by the transition to Vessel. We’ll be available to help you with your transition and answer questions. Existing customers will be automatically added to the Beta, while new users will need to request access and be onboarded in waves.
Migration will happen whenever you’re ready, starting May 15th up until June 15th, and will take 10-15 minutes. All you need to do is click “Migrate” on zubhium.com, hang out for the migration period, and then you can immediately start using Vessel as you were using Zubhium. After June 15th, Vessel will replace Zubhium, and the old site will no longer be accessible. However, we will maintain your data for 6 months so that you’ll still be able to transition.
What does it cost?
As your user base grows, we’ll also roll out restructured pricing to handle your app’s success, so that we can support you from your first download to your 100 millionth. The new pricing structure will be based on your number of monthly active users, as well as how many team members you have, and how many apps you’re developing. The base price for a single developer is $10, and for multiple developers, $30. Once you reach 100,000 monthly active users, we’ll transfer you to our enterprise product to give you the support you need to grow.
If you’re free user on Zubhium, you’ll continue to be a free user on Vessel. You’ll be able to grow to 1000 monthly active users and see your product through 10 beta builds. We’ll ask you to add your payment details so we can handle billing for you seamlessly when you scale up and need more support from Vessel.
Since we’re testing things out, your ideas and feedback will be vital. Sending us feedback also enters you to win sweet Vessel swag, like our first-ever Vessel t-shirt!
Give us Feedback, win cool stuff!
